I have been asked why I don't try my hand at writing mainstream books. The answer is quite simple. I don't have the patience. I find life so fascinating that it is hard for me to buckle down and type out the words for my own shorter stories. If life's demands interrupt the story I tend to struggle. A month will fly by and if the story isn't finished, I'm ready to start on a new one.
This week's calendar is filling up. Tomorrow I need to go to the city. On another day, a friend, who moved away last year, and I are getting together for lunch to catch up. We also received the news that my aunt has passed away and I assume the funeral will be this week.
So, today I will work on my current story and try to ignore this new story that is whispering in my ear.
Sorry to hear about your aunt.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are able to get everything done in the city that needs to be done & that you have fun with your friend when you meet up.
And ....
Good luck getting the current story down before the new story gets too loud hehe.

Thank you, Brandi
