Yesterday was my birthday and Mr. B gave me a present. It was a flashlight. Sure, I can use it when camping or out in the woods at night. But Mr. B has an entire drawer full of flashlights. I have to mention he sure was excited to put batteries in that flashlight and see how bright it was. I did enjoy the beautiful flowers he also gave me. We went for a ride and looked at all the flooding. That was fun. Lunch at a new diner that opened up in a nearby town was delicious. And, of course, the Dairy Queen ice cream cake topped off the great day.
