It's that time of year when the winter blues start to hit everyone. I think people get tired of fighting the cold weather, the long hours of darkness, getting sick, and being cooped up in the house more than usual. I can feel the edges of the blues coming on. This afternoon I'm hoping to take a walk down our road and get the mail. I'm thinking a little fresh air and moving around will help. Yesterday I did something I'm sure will cheer me up. I ordered flower seeds. Soon I will plant those seeds in little pots and watch them grow until they are planted in the garden in May.

I too have a tiny greenhouse that I set up in front of the living room window. I will be planting a few vegetables also.
