“Marry me,” Oliver demanded.
“No,” Cooper answered, his voice barely above a whisper.
“I need you. I will always need you.” Oliver kissed the side of Cooper’s cheek before pressing a tender kiss on the corner of his mouth.
The blade of the knife traced a straight path down the smooth skin on the front of Cooper’s thigh, leaving a thin, pink line.
